EARLY HEAD START/ HEAD START PROGRAM
Custodian Sterling Wallace Educational Center: 40 hrs./wk.; hourly, full time-full year position. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Minimum of 21 years of age. Basic knowledge and/or previous work experience in the custodial field.
Sterling Wallace Food Service Worker: 30 hrs./wk.; full-year. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Sanitation license and years of experience preferred.
Dixon Bus Monitor: 20 hrs./wk; part year. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and excellent driving record. Must have held a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three (3) consecutive years prior to hire.
Earlville Teacher Assistant: 40 hrs./wk.; part-year. Minimum of AAS in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related degree with a minimum of 21 credit hours in ECE. Will consider Preschool Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
Earlville Food Service Worker/Bus Monitor: 23 hrs./wk. food service and 10 hrs./wk. bus monitor; part-year. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Sanitation license and years of experience preferred.
Health Specialist (Northern Counties): 40 hrs./wk.; hourly and/or salary. Full year position. Minimum of a LPN (License Practical Nurse). RN (Registered Nurse) License Preferred. Current Illinois license required. Previous experience in pediatric health, public health or health management systems required.
Health Specialist (Southern Counties): 40 hrs./wk.; hourly and/or salary. Full year position. Minimum of a LPN (License Practical Nurse). RN (Registered Nurse) License Preferred. Current Illinois license required. Previous experience in pediatric health, public health or health management systems required.
Lacon Food Service Worker/Bus Monitor: 23 hrs./wk. food service and 10 hrs./wk. bus monitor; part-year. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Sanitation license and years of experience preferred.
LaSalle County Parent Child Educator: 30 hrs./week; full-year; Minimum of AAS in child development, early childhood education, human services, social services or closely related field, or enrolled in a degree program with a current Home Visitor or Infant-Toddler Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
(1) LaSalle Teacher Assistants: 35 hrs./wk.; part-year. Minimum of AAS in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related degree with a minimum of 21 credit hours in ECE. Will consider Preschool Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
LaSalle Food Service Worker: 35 hrs./wk.; part-year. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Sanitation license and years of experience preferred.
Mendota Teacher Assistant: 35 hrs./wk.; part-year. Minimum of AAS in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related degree with a minimum of 21 credit hours in ECE. Will consider Preschool Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
Ottawa Teacher: 40 hrs./wk; full-year. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or closely related degree with a minimum of 21 credit hours in ECE. Previous experience in a licensed early childhood setting desired.
(5) Ottawa Teacher Assistants: 30-35 hrs./wk.; part-year and full-year opportunities available. Minimum of AAS in early childhood education, child development, or related degree with a minimum of 21 credit hours in ECE. Will consider Preschool Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
Ottawa Food Service Worker: 30 hrs./wk.; full-year. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Sanitation license and years of experience preferred.
Polo Bus Driver/Class Aide: 30 hrs./wk.; part-year. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and excellent driving record. Must have held a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three (3) consecutive years prior to hire.
(2) Rochelle Teacher Assistants: 35 hrs./wk.; part-year. Minimum of AAS in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related degree with a minimum of 21 credit hours in ECE. Will consider Preschool Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
Seneca Teacher: 40 hrs./wk; part-year. Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related degree with a minimum of 21 credit hours in ECE. Previous experience in a licensed early childhood setting is desired.
Spring Valley Teacher Assistant: 35 hrs./wk.; part-year. Minimum of AAS in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related degree with a minimum of 21 credit hours in ECE. Will consider Preschool Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
Sterling Teacher: 40 hrs./wk; full-year. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or closely related degree with a minimum of 21 credit hours in ECE. Previous experience in a licensed early childhood setting desired.
(1) Sterling Teacher Assistant: 30 hrs./wk. ; full-year. Minimum of AAS in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related degree with a minimum of 21 credit hours in ECE. Will consider Preschool Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
(6) Sterling Teacher Assistants: 30/35 hrs./wk.; part-year. Minimum of AAS in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related degree with a minimum of 21 credit hours in ECE. Will consider Preschool Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
Streator Teacher Assistant: 35 hrs./wk; full-year. Minimum of AAS in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related degree with a minimum of 21 credit hours in ECE. Will consider Preschool Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
West Carroll Food Service Worker: 28 hrs./wk.; part-year. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Valid driver’s license. Sanitation license and years of experience preferred.
Whiteside County Parent Child Educator: 30 hrs./week; full year; Minimum of AAS in child development, early childhood education, human services, social services or closely related field, or enrolled in a degree program with a current Home Visitor or Infant-Toddler Child Development Associate Credential (CDA).
Wyoming Bus Driver/Class Aide: 30 hrs./wk.; part-year. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and excellent driving record. Must have held a valid driver’s license for a minimum of three (3) consecutive years prior to hire.
