The Board of Directors plays a unique and important role in the life of a Community Action Agency. The board helps develop strategic plans that include consensus on the mission, goals and objectives, and strategies for implementation. The board regularly evaluates program services, effectively manages all financial resources, enhances the agency's public standing and supports recruitment of new board members.

Board members should be committed to attending and participating appropriately and professionally in all board meetings (meetings are held monthly, except for December).
